A Structured Way in Which Preachers Can Think About Their Retirement
an cccasional paper by Revd Dr George Lovell
MEDICAL ETHICS
Three of the local preachers in the Leeds (North East) Circuit are eminent medical men. To take advantage of their wisdom and experience, and to stimulate a discussion on contemporary medical ethics, we have asked them each to contribute a paper.
Some of the issues raised were discussed at a study day for preachers at Chapel Allerton Methodist Church in November 2009 .
- A Gut Feeling: some ethical and theological issues in contemporary medicine by Professor Peter D Howdle
- Issues in Medical Ethics by Dr Stanley Pearson
- End of Life by Dr Richard Vautrey
We are grateful to them for providing such rich material.
